Become a DOS member
Becoming a DOS member is easy and free of charge for all Dalhousie students! Please fill out the form and sign our year-long waiver below. This waiver encompasses the vast majority of activities DOS participates in, but additional DSU waivers may be required for higher risk events. You must be a member to participate in DOS trips and make use of the gear library!

Note: memberships expire on April 30th of each year, and must be renewed to continue accessing DOS services.

You can now complete your 2023/24 DOS membership!

1) Download and submit the form to become a DOS member here. (This must be done to renew membership for each new year)
​
2) Visit us during a Gear Library office hour to pick up your membership card. Office hours are found here. We can be found in room 340 on the third floor of the SUB.

2023/2024 memberships will be expired as of April 30th, 2024. Each year when you renew your membership, a new stamp will be given.

Becoming a DOS member is easy. Simply fill out the DSU's new yearly waiver, found here — the days of unique trip waivers are behind us. Then, come to an office hour to receive your membership card. Membership cards let you attend DOS trips, make use of the gear library, and receive discounts/ benefits at multiple Halifax businesses!
