Winter Bushcraft Skills Overnight - Five Mile Lake

This 12 person trip is meant for anyone interested in camping outside during the winter. Advanced campers only. Saturday morning we will depart from the SUB and drive about 45 minutes to Five Mile Lake. The lake is relatively large and is surrounded by some nice crown land. We will park in the nearby parking lot and then hike in about 10k. Once a suitable location has been found, we will set up our camp and stay to practice various bushcraft techniques. We will build shelters and tools, practice fire building techniques, and if there is snow present we will potentially build snow shelters. If people are willing and weather is permitting there will be the option to sleep in a self made shelter! We will walk 10k back out to the cars on Sunday and then drive back to the SUB for Sunday night.
