Crowbar Lake Day Hike

Come and spend the day hiking in the beautiful Waverly-Salmon River Long Lake Wilderness Area! This is a 10.2 km out and back hike and is considered moderate, with uneven trail and steep climbs. We will be hiking at a slow to moderate pace, so people who are new to hiking are encouraged to sign up!

Participants will meet in front of the SUB at 9:00am. From there we will drive to the trail head (about 45 minutes), and will begin hiking at 10am. The trail winds through granite boulders and spruce forests for 5.1km until it reaches Granite Lake. Here we’ll take a break for snacks and hot chocolate, and admire the views of the lake. We will then hike back to the trail head and arrive back at the SUB by 3pm.

Bring sturdy hiking shoes, lunch, a full water bottle, and a mug for hot chocolate!
